C-9 Virtual Instruction Providers

Issue/Rationale
Clay Virtual Academy, following state statutes, contracts with Virtual Instruction Providers (VIP). Contracts with FLVS, K12, NEFLIN and other VIP must be negotiated for pricing and general terms. The Director of Purchasing and School Board Attorney submit minor wording changes to such vendors for finalization. The Director of Purchasing needs authorization to contract for purchase when language has been finalized.

Recommended Action
Authorize Director of Purchasing to purchase once contract parameters are finalized.

Financial Impact

$50* per student per semester for FLVS content

$4295 per student for K-12 full time students

*Additional fees may apply for certain courses identified in contract
